It would be great to have a larger laser, a more powerful laser, and a fiber laser (which can mark metal). This laser is expensive, but it checks all of those boxes: The Epilog FusionPro 48 Dual (120W CO2/50W Fiber). It has lots of great features (https://www.epiloglaser.com/laser-machines/fusion-pro-laser-series.htm), and a cut area of 48" x 36".

Having the ability to print large parts would be great. The Gigabot 3+ (what they have at Sacred Heart) is a good option: https://shop.re3d.org/products/gigabot
Very common labor saving device, our current one is busted and old.
