Beer Brew Session by Community Supported Brewing: Tripel
MakeHaven Main Space
The main makerspace and connected shops. This is located at 770 Chapel Street. Registered participants should ring the MakeHaven labeled doorbell. They will be directed down a long hallway, and down a set of stairs to our basement workshop.
Join Community Supported Brewing (CSB) to brew beer together! CSB is a group of people that make beer as a group so we can learn from each other and have partners in ale trying all of our well made and our favorite beers.
At this event we will be brewing a tripel, the 8%ish light Pilsner malt based Trappist beer from Belgium. Newbies welcome! While waiting we will be hanging out sharing our brewing experience and learning from one other about the craft. Drop in for part or stick around for all. CSB is a group for bringing good beer to good people! BYOB welcome.
Tool sharpening
A dull tool can be worthless.
This could be split into a number of sessions:
Knife, chisel, plane iron type.
"Garden" type .. shovels, axes & hatchets, hoes .. etc
A tool handle making, replacing session for any of the above.
Japanese joinery workshop.
There is interest in learning the fascinating traditional joinery used by Japanese woodworkers.
This could be a beginner & an advanced level presentation. Both hands on.
Wood joinery workshop for common western technique.
A number of people in the woodworking shop would benefit from demonstrations on how to achieve the joinery they desire for their project.
Scribit
A https://scribit.design/ drawing robot for the big white wall by the couches. We could have constantly changing designs and notices in a very visible. place.
Easy Zippered Bag

Riley Hopkins Jr. 4 color, 2-station Screen Printing Press
We discussed getting one of these awhile back, and it's definitely time for an upgrade to the screenprinting press. This machine will (first of all) not break its solder points AND it allows formicro-adjusting for multi-colored and CMYK printing. Let's take screenprinting to the next level!
