The main makerspace and connected shops. This is located at 770 Chapel Street. Registered participants should ring the MakeHaven labeled doorbell. They will be directed down a long hallway, and down a set of stairs to our basement workshop.

Sean O'Brien (https://webio.me) will introduce you to home brewing.

These workshops are for homebrewers old, new, and soon-to-be amazing.

After a short video intro to homebrewing beer we'll the home brewing process and the all grains beer that we will be learning how to make using your home stove.

In this class you will learn how to brew a one-gallon batch on the stove to help familiarize you with the brewing process.Then move on up to HERMS (Heat Exchange Recirculating Mash System).

This class is taught in 5 parts 

Class 1 - Brew Day Saturday, July 16 $7.00

Class 2 - Beer Check - Tuesday, August 9 - Check on the progress of the beers and (optionally) move from primary to secondary.  FREE

Class 3 - Planning - Saturday, September 10 - Check the beer process to see if we're still on schedule for a release, adjust if necessary, and come up with a bottling/kegging plan $7.00

Class 4 - Bottling Day - Saturday, Septmeber 24  - Bottle the beer. $7.00

Class 5 - Release Party - Saturday, October 15 - Chili & Beer Tasting - $7.00
