Notes:
-
Never leave the machine unattended. Smoke and burning can happen quickly!
-
This machine makes a MINIMUM of 5 batches. Making fewer than that will cause the machine to burn out.
-
Making 5 batches takes about 30 minutes. If you don't want that much, use the small popcorn maker.
-
Do not touch the popping kettle with your hands as it heats, while operating, or before it has completely cooled.
Step by step operation
-
Flip all switches on.
-
Wait in the kitchen for 4 minutes for the kettle to heat.
-
Pour in 2 cups of kernels, 3/4 cups of oil (coconut is best for the machine), and 2 tablespoons of salt into the kettle.
-
Popcorn will come out the top of the kettle as it pops.
-
Let pop until it is 99% done (1 second between each pop), then tilt the wooden arm to remove any remaining popcorn or kernels.
-
REPEAT steps 3-5 at least 4 more times
-
ON THE LAST BATCH turn the heat off just as the lid starts to lift from the popping.
-
Scoop popcorn into bowls.
-
When finished, be sure all switches (light, warmer, motor, heat) are switched to OFF.
-
Wash and put away used bowls.
Create satisfying salty snacks with the movie theater style popcorm maker.
