Low ft-lb torque wrench (15-50)

Submitted by Ethan Rodrigue… on

With MH's excellent lending library, I have /almost/ all the tools I need to remove my Prius hybrid battery; the one exception seems to be a torque wrench that works in the low ft-lb range (20-30 ft-lb), which is required for re-tightening certain bolts when re-installing the battery. This would fill a gap in the current torque wrench options (have: 40-200 in-lb and 50-250 ft-lb; missing: 200-600 in-lb aka 17-49 ft-lb range), and would be helpful to me & perhaps other future Prius DIYers :-)

Spiral Mixer

Submitted by Joshua Kanter on

Spiral mixers are efficient and effective dough mixers. They differ from the planetary (or KitchenAid) style in two very important ways.

First, there is an agitator arm in the center of the bowl that prevents the dough "riding" up the hook, getting stuck, forcing you to stop the machine and slide it back down.

Second, and most importantly, they are specialized; designed with one purpose in mind, kneading dough. To achieve that, the bowl rotates around a rotating, and fixed, dough hook.

Tungsten Grinder for TIG Electrodes

Submitted by Mara Heneks on

When you're TIG welding it's usually important to have a sharp and clean tip on your tungsten electrode. To keep from getting contaminated welds from grinding on a grinding stone used for other things, it's best to use a specific grinding wheel for welding tungstens. It's also helpful to have a jig for getting the right angle. This tool does everything in one and can just live in the welding area to keep it only used for welding.

a temperature setting/regulator laminator

13" Laminator Machine, Four Roller, 110VAC 600 watts operating Temperature 80-180C degrees

available on eBay item #393246262909

price..85.00 plus tax, Free Shipping..

Unit is unlabeled.. but made by Pouch

Although this unit is made for laminating plastic.... it will work for transferring b/w toner onto copper

I would like it to be labeled for that purpose only on the Electronics bench..

I am concerned that using it for other purposes may cause problems when making PCBs
