The main makerspace and connected shops. This is located at 770 Chapel Street. Registered participants should ring the MakeHaven labeled doorbell. They will be directed down a long hallway, and down a set of stairs to our basement workshop.



This will be the official exam to earn you FCC Technician License exam to become an amature radio operator. The exam covers basic regulations, operating practices and electronics theory, with a focus on VHF and UHF applications. Students must bring $15 to cover the FCC examination fees. Please bring government issued photo id,  and pens/pencils. If you have an FCC-issued FRN number, be sure to bring that as well.

 

It is recommended that students study and take practice tests in advance to prepare. Study resources available at ARRL.
