What to Expect:
• Overview of MIG and TIG welding safety protocols.
• Step-by-step guidance on machine setup, welding techniques, and cleanup.
• Hands-on practice with welding joints and techniques.
• Completion of the Welding badge requirements for one or both welding techniques.
Skills You’ll Acquire:
• Safe and confident operation of MIG and TIG welding equipment.
• Techniques for welding clean, precise joints.
• Understanding of material preparation, tool setup, and welding safety.
Prerequisites/Safety Information:
• Participants must be active MakeHaven members.
• Participants must watch the applicable badging video(s) and pass the associated quiz before attending:
• Closed-toe shoes and long sleeves are required, and all safety protocols must be followed during the class.

This class is ideal for MakeHaven members who want to:
• Gain certification for independent access to MIG and/or TIG welding equipment.
• Build confidence and skills in welding.
• Learn proper welding techniques in a guided environment.
Materials Provided:
• Metal and other materials for practice.
• Safety equipment, including welding masks, gloves, and protective clothing.
• Access to welding tools and expert instruction.
