Are you’re interested in starting your own business, but have no idea where to start?

This 5 class series will go into detail about starting your own business and the thought process needed to become an entrepreneur.  The class will be broken down into several topics each night, starting with business idea creation, your goals/dreams and if you truly think you have it in you to make this work.  There are many people who want to start their own business that are fantastic at what they do, but they lack the business experience to take that passion and actually turn it into a profitable business.  This class will help you with all these questions, concerns and decisions.

Some questions to be covered:

Is your significant other on board with you?  Do you have any startup funds? Do you have what it takes to “think” like a business person?  Do you know what you know and more importantly what you don’t know and can I afford to pay someone to do what I don’t know or can I/will I learn it myself?

Class 1:

Concept/idea creation

  • Can I make this work?, is there a moat for this product or service?, who will buy it?, does it already exist?, how is this different than other products or services in the same vertical?, is it disruptive?  What is CONCORD?,  how to search on the US trade mark site?, did you check to see if your company name domain is available on godaddy?  Handle available on TikTok, Instagram?

***This is a 5-class series. Participants can attend all or some of the 5 classes. If you would like to purchase the full 5-classes set for 20% off the total price, please email Ashley at Ashley.Zdeb@makehaven.org.***
