Used with wood turning lathe for coring multiple bowls from larger wood blanks. Safe, effective way to maximize full potential of lathes capabilities.
A 9 inch and 11.5 or 13 inch knife would allow three bowls to be cut from one blank.
Metal engraving/marking is an often requested capability that would be cool to have.

VCarve and OMAX are both platform-specific software with their own set of idiosyncrasies and payment packages. Fusion360 is ostensibly free and can design for most of the machines in the space - but there is a lack of in-depth training available. Why not see if an adept member can volunteer some time for a class?
