Come hang out with makers as we get inside stuff for our first Takeapart of 2025! We'll have some post-functioning electronics and the like ready for dissection. Embark on a journey into the world of 3D design with our "Mastering SOLIDWORKS: Fundamentals of 3D Part Modeling" workshop. SOLIDWORKS stands as the industry standard for 3D design, and this workshop is your gateway to unlocking its vast potential. Whether you're charting a course for a STEAM career or simply eager to dive into the realm of 3D modeling, this fundamentals module is tailored for those new to 3D solid modeling.

During the program, participants will go through tool introductions, both as a group and independently with guidance. These digital badges serve as a record of the participant's progress in completing the required safety orientations for different tools. The goal of the program is to earn 12+ badges with at least two in each of the focus areas (wood, metal, textiles, digital), and complete a project in each section that can be presented in a show-and-tell session during graduation.
