The maker community has many interesting projects that people have made or aspire to make. Join us as we share several of these stories in rapid succession with MakeHaven's online Pecha Kucha.

Presenting will be:

Robotic Competition - Chris LaSalle, will share the challenges and successes of the Robo Dominators Team in the First Robotics Competition.

Sculpture Experience - Julia Murphy of ToolMark Studio will share memorable projects and processes, as experienced during her sculpting career.

Sacred Heart Makerspace - Cedric Bleimling will share the story of projects in development at Sacred Heart University and the projects and experiences that lead him to this position.

Fabrication Bootcamp - Corey Rice shares his experience attending a 6 month fabrication course and bring that knowledge to his high school class.  He also has an exciting announcement about programming being developed for MakeHaven.

Sculpture at Nxt Hvn - Jeffrey Meris is an artist who works across sculpture, installation, performance and drawing to consider the impacts of naturalization, (dis)placement and racial interpellation. He will share examples of his work.

Community Bio - JR Logan will share what he ask learned about the movement to bring biology into makerspaces and how MakeHaven is joining this movement.

Citywide wifi Network for Things - John Fitzpatrick, will share an exciting new wireless technology that reaches miles and allows thousands of smart devices to always be feeding information back to the internet.

Disposable and Beautiful - Michael Angelis is a painter and printmaker. Many of his works are intended to capture images or concepts that are not typically preserved or memorialized - often to me the most beautiful objects are those which are not intended to be presented as beautiful.

Followed by happy half hour - Make yourself a drink, chat as a group, ask questions of the presentors.
