This will be informal gathering of people interested in creating digital music.
Discussions may include any, all, or none of the following:
- General digital music considerations on a Mac
- General digital music considerations on Linux
- What is a DAW?
- Audio programs: GUIs, Code-based, Recording/Editing/Mastering
- Building your own Linux computer for digital audio
- Audio hardware considerations (Computer I/O, hardware controllers, MIDI controllers, etc.)
- Strategies for realizing the music you want to write
- Network audio
- Other
All wanting to attend are encouraged to bring a laptop should they possess one. However, one is not required.
