FCC Amateur Radio Licensing Exam
An FCC Amateur Radio Licensing exam session will be held at MakeHaven by the MakeHaven Underground Radio Group.
ALL 3 levels of FCC licensing exam will be offered: Technician, General and Amateur Extra. Applicants should have studied the ARRL Licensing Manual and/or other training materials for the level of exam they wish to take and should bring all required materials.
What to bring:
Bring your drivers license or other legal photo ID.
Bring your FRN number.
If you are applying for your first amateur radio license you must apply for an FRN number at:
https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do
If you have an amateur radio license and are applying for an upgrade bring a copy of your license.
You may bring your own calculator with memory erased and pencils, or calculator and pencils will be provided. Smartphones and similar electronic devices may not be used.
Bring $15.00 cash to be paid at the exam (required amount for reimbursement for testing materials).

The MakeHaven Underground Radio Group is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League.
MakeHaven membership is not required for the exam or the preparation session, but you must register in advance for the exam. No walk-ins.
