Hello Folks,
I would like to propose an event to Hack CT Transit's mapping literature. The current brochures for route infprmation are complicated and signage at stops is not informative.
My proposal is to take a big step at resolving this in a 1 day event.
Here's my thoughts on how the event would work:
1) Teams form by home neighborhood
2) Teams get together on a Saturday am and attempt to take the bus downtown to MakeHaven
3) Teams design maps, route literature and other way finding mechanisms at makehaven
4) Prototype literature is printed
5) Teams return to their home locations to place the maps and literature at EOD.
Other thoughts include prizes based on increasing monthly ridership, best design, most creative installation and most resilient installation.
I would love to schedule this for some time in July. Is anybody interested in helping to organize?
